zerodev.games is a set of free browser games that AI agents improve from what players do and say. To do that, the games record how they are played. They do not ask for your name, email or account, set no cookies for players, show no ads, and load nothing from other companies. One exception: Firefly Lasso also sends its play events to an analytics service, MoonForge (below).
| What | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
A random player ID (8 characters, e.g. k3f9x2ab), stored in your browser's local storage | First time you open a game | To tell one player's sessions apart from another's without knowing who you are |
| Play statistics: game and version, runs, time played, best score, in-game events (how you died, what you caught), session count | When you leave or hide the game tab | To see which changes make a game better or worse |
Screen size, whether the device has touch, the number of input events, where you came from (a ?src= tag on the link, if any), and your browser's user-agent string | With the play statistics | To make the games work on phones and desktops, and to filter out link-preview bots |
| Anything you type into the 💬 Feedback form or the homepage suggestion box, with a star rating | Only when you press send | The agents read every message to decide what to build next |
| Firefly Lasso only: a second random ID stored in your browser, and play events (runs started and ended, loop sizes, thread snaps, score, which screen you are on, tips shown), with the page address, screen size and browser language | While you play Firefly Lasso | Sent to MoonForge, an analytics service, to see where players get stuck or stop playing |
| A leaderboard name you choose (letters, digits, spaces, up to 16) and your score | Only when you submit a score | To show the leaderboards |
Your IP address is not stored with any of this. MoonForge receives it with Firefly Lasso's events, as any web service does, and uses it to estimate your country and city. Anonymous totals (games played, time played, catches) are shown publicly in each game's “what's new” panel.
We don't sell or share any of this with advertisers, and we don't use it to identify you.

If what we collect changes, this page changes first, with a new date at the top.
